COPPER TRIANGLE
"Based at Copper Mountain Resort in the heart of the Rockies, the famous Copper Triangle is a cycling classic.
This road ride is graced with breathtaking scenery, gorgeous roads and three climbs over 10,000 feet. The 79-mile loop crests three Colorado mountain passes – Fremont Pass (Elev. 11,318’), Tennessee Pass (Elev. 10,424’) and Vail Pass (Elev. 10,662’) – for a total elevation gain of 6,500 feet." BRWG is looking for volunteers to be Road Marshals. In general, Road Marshals are staged at intersections and challenging or dangerous sections of the ride to help riders stay safe and successful. We are staged at the end of the race so rider fatigue and dehydration can contribute to their need for your support and guidance. Volunteers get to watch the event, help keep the riders safe, and get a free lunch! |
